Weatherby Model 307 Alpine CT - 6.5 WBY RPM - 22" - Tan & Brown Ascents:

The Alpine CT is built on Weatherby's newest bolt action rifle platform, the Model 307. Meant to complement the historic Mark V and Vanguard lineups, the Model 307 action is a 2-lug, fully cylindrical action compatible with many aftermarket accessories. Model 307 is designed to accommodate the vast offerings of stocks, triggers, rails, and mounts that exist in today's marketplace. Weatherby teamed up with PEAK 44 to produce an ultra-light rifle that can own the range and dominate in the field. The PEAK 44 Bastion stock weighs in at 24 ounces and uses a proprietary 3D-Hex recoil pad to reduce the effects of recoil. You'll also find that the barrels on the Alpine MDT Carbon are shorter than our traditional offerings. The BSF carbon barrel delivers unmatched accuracy and comes with Weatherby's Accubrake DST (Directional Self-Timing Brake).

Through years of innovation and testing, the Model 307 action features a bolt that was designed to have a tool-less disassembly which allows hunters and shooters to easily field strip their bolt if needed. The bolt is equipped with an M16-style extractor for positive extraction and reliable ejection. The Alpine CT comes standard with an externally adjustable TriggerTech field trigger and PEAK 44 picatinny rail.

Weighing in at just 24 ounces, the Peak 44 Bastion stock is the lightest production, vertical grip carbon fiber stock on the market. It features a comfortable ambidextrous palm swell and a substantial thumb groove to promote proper form while shooting. The forend features dual sling studs to allow the shooter multiple options when deciding on accessories. This upgraded stock allows shooters to comfortably and accurately shoot from all positions at the range and in the field.

In the Alpine CT lines, the BSF barrel is threaded and comes with the all new directional self-timing brake. The receiver and muzzle brake are coated in a durable Cerakote and the carbon fiber stock is hand-painted.

The Alpine CT is compatible with most after-market 700 platform parts, making it the most open platform in the Weatherby line-up. Proudly built at our headquarters here in Sheridan, WY.

Guaranteed Sub-MoA Accuracy
All Mark V rifles are guaranteed to shoot a 3-shot group of .99 inch or less at 100 yards (SUB-MOA) from a cold barrel when used with Weatherby factory or premium ammunition.

TriggerTech Trigger
TriggerTechs trigger provides true zero-creep break, extremely short over-travel, and is externally adjustable (down to 2.5lbs). Precision cut stainless steel components ensure consistent trigger pulls from shot to shot in a safe, reliable, and corrosion resistant package.

Accubrake DST
The Accubrake DST is a side-ported directional self-timing brake. Side-ported brakes direct gasses to the left and right reducing muzzle rise and drastically reducing felt recoil. A timing nut allows users to easily self-time the brake without the aid of a gunsmith.

Carbon Fiber Stock
Sourced from Peak44, this stock has the distinction of being the lightest production aerospace-grade carbon fiber stock on the market. Industry-leading manufacturing techniques, patented bedding technology and the addition of the 3DHEX recoil-reducing buttpad mean this is one of the most advanced lightweight stocks to date.

Titanium Receiver
Titanium properties present 42 percent the weight of traditional steel which provides maximum weight savings for the hunter looking to save every ounce while maintaining structural integrity.

3D Hex Recoil Reducer
Large caliber felt recoil dissipation provided in the lightest recoil reducer available. 3DHEX is a patent pending high strength energy diffusing lattice structure designed to distribute specific directional forces and reduce muzzle lift.

Cerakote Finish
Cerakote is the industry leading thin film ceramic coating. The Cerakote unique formula enhances physical properties including wear, corrosion, and chemical resistance while improving impact strengths, and hardness.
