Stoeger Airguns ATAC - Synthetic - .22 :
Gas-Ram Technology, full barrel and a tactical synthetic stock with integrated Picatinny rails attached to both sides of the forend and receiver. The ATAC relies on a simple, quiet Gas-Ram driven action that cocks with a break-open barrel. Gas-Ram Technology reduces vibration and eliminates the sound that comes from a traditional spring-driven airgun power plant. Accuracy is enhanced with this system through the elimination of vibrations and velocities are consistent because of exact and repeatable gas-pressure release.

.22 Pellet

.22 air rifles are the best choice for medium to large pests. The extra weight provides the best take-down power in a pellet gun. Look for velocities of 500-900 fps for best results in a .22 caliber air rifle. The pellet will not fly as far in a .22 air rifle compared to the lighter weight calibers, but the better penetration is worth the loss in speed and carry.
